Amara nodded once. “Yes. It did. And what you still have not shown is stable containment lag. You can displace a pocket in theory. That says nothing about what happens at the edge when you bring it back into a moving environment. Air shifts. Heat shifts. Charge shifts. The world does not wait politely while your object takes a short walk outside sequence.”
He switched views and threw up a fresh set of curves. “That’s what the lag correction is for.”
Amara took the marker from his hand without asking and drew a hard cross through one section of the model. “No. That corrects for field collapse in a sealed test shell. This room is not sealed. The moment you move beyond a token and into anything with mass enough to matter, your return envelope has to account for drift, pressure variance, and spatial mismatch. Where does the object come back if the world has moved?”
Elias took the marker back from Amara and tapped the edge of the model. “Into its mapped frame.”
Amara pointed at the crossed-out section of the display. “Mapped by sensors that can only read the present.”
