Auntie Kelpseal hummed as she worked and listened to Ori’s chime bells go ting-ting. “Dreams need a little air,” Auntie Kelpseal said softly, “and maybe a little sharing too.”
Ori tucked the new tomorrows snug in neat rows. “The caves keep everything perfect,” Ori said with a proud little smile. “Nothing gets bumped, lost, or popped.”
Auntie Kelpseal tapped her spoon and sang, “Maybe perfect is not the same as ready.” Ori gave a polite nod, but kept stacking tomorrow after tomorrow.
